V. PROVISION OF MATERIALS AND OTHER RESOURCES

The campus research and extension office are installed in the newly
constructed building. It is located at the center of the research field were
every Colleges/Department is accessible. The research and extension office
of the College of Computing Science is likewise installed in the newly
constructed building which is nearby to the Campus Research Center.

The Research Office is shared with the Extension Unit of the School.
Within the office is the reading center where result of researches conducted
by students from 2000 to the latest. The Students and target clientele may
avail of the use of reading materials and information, flyers, leaflets, etc to
its stakeholders. The RDET Office has a provision of high-speed dynamic
internet access, and some computer units for those who do not have laptops
or any computer to used. There is also provision of printing services.

Concurrently, researchers may also use the centralized computer units
located in the College of Computing Sciences which is open from 8:00 a.m.
– 5:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday. As of this writing, the Research Center
utilizes open source software such as R and Python, and other open-
software for the statistical analysis while waiting for the procurement of
IBM-SPSS. On the other hand, researches of students are being conducted
in a special laboratory provided for them.
