                   c. Production of Research

Production of research is one of the activities of the college for the professional
development of its faculty wherein every faculty is strongly encouraged to develop a
               quality research every year.

Once it has been presented, critiqued and comments were adopted by the
researcher in an Agency In House Review, a full blown paper has to be presented to
the Research and Extension Committee during the RDET Research presentation.
After such presentation and approval, the RDET will select a quality research and
include best researchers in the IFSU-RDET Journal.

Faculty with the ranks of at least Assistant Professor I is required to conduct
research and extension periodically. Those in temporary status of appointment
should have a co-researcher with permanent status or as per their initiatives can
conduct research and extension but can be assumed by the Research and
Development, Extension and Training to be assigned by the Director if their tenure
               is terminated.

               The following is the flow of research and extension activities;

                   1. Call for proposals. The Research and Development, Extension and Training
(RDET) department calls for proposals from the faculty and research and
extension staff at the onset of every academic year.
                   2. Agency In-house Review for Research Development. The RDET together with
the invited outside agency led the screening and evaluation of the submitted
                       proposals.
                   3. Research and Extension proposals should be presented with a panel of
                       external evaluators.
                   4. Endorsement of selected proposals for funding to the University President
after the final deliberation by the RDET.
