What is Verb + Adverb
collocation?
We form verbs and adverb collocation by putting adverb before the
verb or putting the verb before adverb depending on the different
emphasis.
ADVERBS OF MANNER quickly, slowly, easily, and happily
Mid-positio = less emphasis to the adverb
She easily passed the test.
End-position = more emphasis to the adverb:
We accepted the invitation happily.
* Adverbs of manner not ending in -ly (like well, hard, and fast) can only
appear in the end position
