Serger Ruffle Quilt
Class Fee: $40 per class
Using a chain stitch to create ruffles and
making a true, quilt -as- you- go- quilt on
your serger is just the beginning of what
you will learn in this class. This beginner
serger class is just what you need to get a
little more comfortable with that serger.

Quilting Classes
Long Arm Certification
Class Fee: $69 per class
This 2-3 hour class is a beginner hands-on class con-
sisting of no more than three students and is taught
on our Baby Lock Regalia stitch-regulated machine.
You will learn how to prepare your top, batting and
backing, load and baste your quilt, and the basics
of using the machine. We will also cover using basic
free-style movements and loading the quilt on to the
leaders using a zipper system. By the end of the class
you will be able to quilt an overall design on your quilt.

The technique of Foundation Paper
Piecing (FPP) is a very accurate method
of piecing quilt blocks using a printed paper for stitch
lines. This popular method is especially useful for
piecing unusual or awkward shapes and achieving
crisp, clean lines that would otherwise be difficult. In
this monthly technique class, you will learn the basic
methods of Foundation Paper Piecing. You will
complete one or two blocks in this class. This class is
perfect for the novice in FPP or an experienced sewist
looking for a refresher. Instructor: Susan Mueller

Ruler Work
Class Fee: $20 per class
Learn the basics and more with this
trendy technique of free motion with
rulers. This will take your quilting up a
few notches and impress the heck out of your quilting
friends for sure! You must be comfortable with free
motion to move on to ruler work. This is an ongoing
class where we will learn many techniques and designs
together. Instructor: Karol Fishbach (n)

Beginning Quilting
Class Fee: $60 per class
New to quilting but don’t know where to
begin? This one day workshop will get you
started. You will learn to use a rotary
cutter, piece two different blocks, add
sashing and borders, and make a quilt “sandwich”.
Learn the basics of simple machine quilting and add-
ing a binding. This is a class not to be missed.
