Epilepsy
Epilepsy is characterised by seizures, and because it is caused by abnormal activity in brain cells,
seizures can affect any process your brain coordinates. Seizure signs and symptoms may include:
Ÿ Temporary confusion
Ÿ A staring spell
Ÿ Uncontrollable jerking movements of the arms and legs
Ÿ Loss of consciousness or awareness
Ÿ Psychic symptoms
