Mascarpone Strawberries


                    This dessert is relatively easy to make with only four ingredients, yet

                impressively stunning in its presentation Consider pairing with a white wine

                made from the Muscat grape or a semi-sweet or dry Sparkling wine. For reds,
                             something fruity made from Gamay or Pinot noir grapes.

               1 qt. fresh strawberries; trim tops and bottoms; scoop out centers
               8 oz. mascarpone cheese
               4 tablespoons powdered sugar

               1/2 teaspoon amaretto liqueur

               Mix cheese, sugar and amaretto in a bowl until smooth.


               Place mixture in a pastry bag and use a star tip.


               Pipe mixture into berry and decorate with sliced almonds.

               Yield:  4 SERVINGS
