About the Authors:
James & Teressa Woodward have enjoyed a
30 year career in the Wine and Food
Hospitality Industry. James is a Free Lance
Writer and Wine Educator, having taught
classes at Universities, Culinary Centers,
Restaurants and Hotels. Teressa is a
Gourmet Cookbook Author and an
accomplished chef having worked with
many outstanding in their field.
Oklahoma State University International Beverages Course
The Woodward’s reside in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
and own time shares at Berkshire by the Sea in
Delray Beach, Florida, where they consider it their
home away from home They have been vacationing
in Delray Beach, Florida for over 10 years and love
the amazing array of world class restaurants in the
area. They are personal friends with many restaurant
owners and chefs and make every effort to see many

While visiting Delray Beach over the years, Teressa
would scrutinize all of the local publications in search
of a new restaurant for them to enjoy. Realizing that
there was no comprehensive guide to all of the
restaurants and particularly “Happy Hours,” she
embarked upon a very ambitious endeavor to
document as many as possible during their stay. They
call their favorite game “Happy Hop,” where they go
to three different Happy Hours in an hour and a half.

The Woodward’s greatly enjoy walking back to their resort
down Atlantic Avenue after a “Happy Hop” excursion to
absorb what they call an eclectic bustling town full of
variety, life and energy like no other. From Pinball Museums
to Art Galleries, Art Museums, Miniature Golf Courses,
Waterway Cruises, Wine Tastings and Live Music, they say
there is something for everyone in this town.
