                                                                                                                         Tomorrow’s Leaders

                                                    High Speed Handwashing

“We usually ‘sanitize’ our hands before lunch. Now we can wash up
                                     quickly.”
In October, 13 elementary school classrooms and a local childcare
center participated in learning how to "High Speed Handwash." While
the method may sound too fast to give hands a thorough cleaning, it
does just the opposite. Classrooms of 20 (and more) youth are able to
have all students have a quality handwash in 3 minutes or less, before
                                     eating snacks and lunches.
In a group setting, high speed handwashing saves time, saves water,
and allows each individual to scrub their hands longer, for better
                                     cleanliness in the end.

Better handwashing ultimately leads to better health for the students,
                                     and their families.
