Camp Colley Foundation 2019 Annual Report
"People (campers and staff) and opportunities to learn through direct experience seemed to be the primary features that made camp a distinct learning context and the mechanisms that promoted learning that transferred to school, work,
and life."

Deepening Impact Through Program Expansion
Increase attendance
During the 2019 season, Camp Colley Foundation purchased 3 additional platform tents that can house 10 campers and 2 staff each. With 6 sessions for City of Phoenix Campers we have the capacity to serve 450 children in 2020 and beyond.
Longer sessions
A 5-day, 4-night experience will enhance long- term impact.
Relaunch adolescent workforce development program
Give teens vocational experience with program facilitation, groundskeeping and kitchen
support.
Expand programming
Include year-round modules at Phoenix recreation centers to provide continuous program
engagement.
Implementation of American Camp Association accreditation standards
Reach 100% implementation by end of 2021 camp season to prepare for 2022 accreditation.
