2021 -22 Lawrence Tech Men’s Ice Hockey
In Memoriam of
Christopher Lantto
Christopher Lantto; a role model, mentor, colleague, friend, coach but more importantly a husband and
father. Unfortunately, Chris passed away earlier this year to complications with diabetes on August 24,
2021. Chris was a larger-than-life person, always bringing joy to everything he did, his smile could
turn your entire day around and he always put others before himself. Chris was with the LTU hockey
program as an assistant coach for four years; recruiting, developing, and mentoring dozens of kids that
he had a lasting impact on and will continue to have in their journey through life. He left an impression
on everyone he came in contact with, whether it be his kindness, sense of humor, genuine personality,
or care for others. Chris will be dearly missed by the Lawrence Tech community every day but the
memories, principles, and legacy he left behind will live on and encourage others to be the best version
of themselves by helping others in need.
