4. If the knot is snugged up tight against the ring, it will hold tenaciously and become very difficult to untie.




                  Untying: It may be necessary to create slack in the standing part first. Then

                  slide the knot toward the standing part to create slack around the object. At
                  that point, the working end can be pulled free.
