78. Square Lashing
Use this lashing to connect a vertical and horizontal pole at right angles to
each other for shelters, platforms, scaffolds, and ladders. The connection
will be solid and the horizontal pole will bear a great deal of weight.
Instructions
1. Position yourself on the side of the structure so that the vertical pole is in front of the horizontal one. Tie
a Clove Hitch around the vertical pole, just beneath the horizontal one.
