Let's now introduce one last vowel in this course. This is a silent
vowel, called 'SHVA' –
This pair of dots is written underneath the letters. With 'SHVA'
the Hebrew letters usually just maintain their original sound as
consonant.
However, if 'SHVA' comes underneath the first letter in a word,
in most cases it will sound like the phonetic 'E' vowel.
