Jerusalem is the Capital of Israel
The President of the United States Donald Trump said last week that the
United States recognizes Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. In a video
posted on Facebook, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responds to this
and says that Jerusalem is the historic capital of the Jewish people. Jews
(have) prayed to go back to Jerusalem for three thousand years, and
seventy years ago we succeeded in making that dream come true.
Netanyahu also said that President Trump’s words can help the peace
process. He calls other countries to join President Trump’s words and
promises that Israel will continue to maintain the status-quo in Jerusalem.
