Guidelines from your virtual coach
Now, let us add a quantitative aspect to our Hebrew.
On the next page we will learn numbers from 1 to
10 in Hebrew using the feminine form.
Pay attention that in Hebrew, numbers are mostly
used in feminine form and, remember that most
Israelis do not care using those correctly?
Listen to the recording and, at the same time, repeat the numbers aloud.
It is imperative that you recite the text aloud – it will increase your
confidence in speaking and comprehending.
Keep on going till the end of the page.
Good luck!!!
* Pay attention: Most Israelis do not care to use numbers in Hebrew correctly.
There is a difference between numbers in masculine and feminine forms. Also,
object conjugation differs with usage of those in conjunction with numbers in
singular and plural form.
It really can be very confusing…
Therefore, in our materials, in most cases we use the numbers the same way
Israelis use those in colloquial Hebrew, (which is not the right way in most
cases).
