Decathlon in Israel
This is good news for anyone who loves sports and camping – the French
network Decathlon, “the Ikea of sports”, is opening (its) first store in
Israel. The store is very big, about three thousand meters with sixty
different departments. In Europe, the prices at the network are very cheap
– three Euros for a backpack. The question is whether prices will continue
to be cheap in Israel as well. Usually international networks who come to
Israel have to pay a lot of taxes and then they can’t keep attractive prices,
but Decathlon promise that here too, that same backpack will cost just
eleven NIS.
