Deer on the Fence
The IDF and environmental organizations have a problem. Wild animals
approach fences and can get hurt. The animals also give the soldiers who
need to check the fence a lot of work. “Zoronet” has a solution. They put
cameras with special technology that knows what kind of animal it is and
how to keep it away from the fence. Today [they] already use this
technology in the settlement of Itamar, where there are many deer. In the
future [they] want to put this technology all over the country. There are
many fences in Israel but the wild animals do not have enough space.
