Act out from English.
Yair Shira, Where do you like to live In an apartment or in a hotel?
Shira My parents like to live in an apartment, but I like living in a
Yair hotel.
Shira Why?
In apartments there is usually a shower stall, and in a hotel there’s
Yair a big big bathtub. You can fill the bathtub with foam and play. In
Shira apartments, there is usually one small balcony. In a hotel there’s
a big balcony in every room and you can see the view from there.
Yair In an apartment, it’s boring and there aren’t any friends. In a
hotel, you can go down to the lobby and find friends. And do you
Shira know what the best thing in a hotel is?
Yair What?
Shira “Why don’t you tidy up your room?” I feel that I’m not on
Yair vacation, because all day I need to tidy up. In a hotel I don’t need
to tidy up my room. When we rent an apartment, my mom says to
me all day long: “Why don’t you tidy up your room?” I feel that
I’m not on vacation, because all day I need to tidy up.
Oh, that sounds exactly like my mom. When we’re on vacation as
well she tidies and tidies all day: Tidies the kitchen, the living
room, the dining area [corner]. I don’t understand it: You can tidy
at home, too. Vacation is for having fun.
When I’ll be big, I’ll never tell my children to tidy their room.
But maybe your husband will tell them to tidy up?
I don’t think so. I want to get married to a husband that likes a
mess.
That’s an excellent idea.
