Exercise: Act out the dialogue in Hebrew while looking at the
English text. Use other names than in the original dialogue when
acting out.

Moshe: David, I want to meet with Obama!
David: What do you mean, meet with Obama?
Moshe: I see it now! The White House’s gate opens, the second gate
opens, the door opens-
David: Okay, I understand, everything is opening, so?
Moshe: And then I enter the White House, the gate closes, the
second gate closes-
David: And the door probably closes too.
Moshe: Right, the door closes. When I enter, everyone is happy to
see me. Obama and I meet.
David: You’re not normal. What do you have to talk about with
Obama?
Moshe: About life. First of all he tells me, “Moshe, please, can you
stay here forever? For good (for a lifetime)? I don’t know what to do
- Israelis, Palestinians, Syrians, Chinese, Koreans… Can you stay
and help me?”
David: And if you stay, how can you help Barack Obama?
Moshe: I can say to him, “Barack, the mess is finished today. Your
problems are finished today. From now on I enter the White House
every morning and you can be happy.”
David: Moshe! Hello! Where are you? Where is your head?
Moshe: And then, after I meet with Barack and help him a lot, he
says to me, “You need to be elected. You need to be the president of
America.” And then you know what happens?
David: You get elected to be president, and there are no more
problems in the world.
Moshe: Right!
David: Okay, you’re crazy and I need to go.
Moshe: Why?
David: I’m meeting with Madonna today.
