Eden Cinema
The people in Neve Tzedek build a cinema. They love to go to the
cinema very much: They say that the cinema is truly paradise.
That’s why the name of the cinema is “Cinema Eden” (literally:
Cinema Paradise).
One day at Cinema Eden, they see an action movie, with a lot of
shooting [shots]. The guard of Cinema Eden hears the shots, gets
frightened, and shoots the screen.
Today there is a Hebrew word for cinema: kolnoa.
Kol in Hebrew is ‘voice’, and noa (comes) from the word tnuah –
movement in Hebrew.
