Retired Start-Up Man
Usually, someone who has a start-up is twenty or thirty years old, but
Zavdi Lichtman isn’t a part of these statistics. He’s seventy two, and
created his first start-up immediately after he retired. His start-up is called
Travel Trix and the software he developed can tell people who booked a
hotel room if the price came down, and then book a new room for them for
a cheap price. Apparently this start-up is really good, because a year and
half after he created it – he got the phone call everyone waits for, a
company from California that wants to buy the start-up. So at the age of
seventy two Zavdi made his first exit, and maybe now he’ll start thinking
about the next exit.
