Let's now practice the pronunciation with the letter

‫'ו‬Vav' –

‫ו‬

‫ו‬The letter (Vav) in itself has the sound similar to the English

letter 'V' as in 'Velvet'.

However, please keep in mind that this letter has an

additional role of serving as a vowel O-‫א ֹו‬
or as a vowel OO-‫ אּו‬in different combinations of dots

(stick and dot), as we previously studied.
