Haifa Chemicals
Haifa Chemicals is the factory of the ammonia silo in Haifa. A few weeks
ago, the government decided that (they) have to close down the ammonia
plant because it’s dangerous for the people in Haifa. A lot of people work
at the factory and now eight hundred of them have to go home. The
employees aren’t taking this well, and decide that they’re staying at the
factory and don’t move until something will change. At Haifa Chemicals
(they) think that they can bring ammonia to Israel with a ship, but the
government wants to think of better, non-dangerous, options. In the
meantime, the employees are the ones paying the price.
