Alcatraz Triathlon
The Alcatraz Triathlon takes place (lit. happens) already forty years outside the famous prison in
San Francisco. It is one of the hardest triathlons in the world. Now, three Israelis are reaching
second place in the triathlon. Haim Gopher runs, Eran Levy rides the bicycle and Uri Nitzan swims
in the cold water of San Francisco. The three Israelis know each other from the army. They train
for half a year for the triathlon.
