Maybe you have noticed that there is a lot of art in Tel Aviv. One can

say that Tel Aviv is the capital of art and culture in Israel. If (you)

look around here, (you) could think that Jaffa is actually the art capital

of Israel:

Because the Noga neighborhood has a lot of good places for small

businesses, and because it’s not so expensive here, many artists and

designers come here. Once, almost all the places on the street were

(places) of work and craft. Today artists and designers go into these

places, and the old workshops turn into studios, galleries and designer

stores.

One can find clothes, jewelry, bags, paintings and also furniture for

the home.In some of the places you will find things by only one artis,

but in most places, several artists work together. There is even one

cooperative called Bloomfield – named after the stadium nearby. If

you like music, it’s worthwhile to go in there and see – sometimes

there is a very fun jam session there.
