Act out from English.
Shira: Excuse me, can I sit here?
Yair: Ya, sure. Who are you?
Shira: I’m Shira. And you?
Yair: I’m Yair. Shira, are you flying alone?
Shira: No, I’m flying with the whole family. My parents are sitting
there, with my sister, and I’m sitting here. And you?
Yair: I’m also flying with my whole family. My parents are sitting
there, with my brother, and I’m sitting here.
Shira: Oh… Are you from Israel?
Yair No, I’m from America. I’m from New York. And you?
Shira: I’m from Boston. How old are you?
Yair: I’m thirteen. I have a Bar Mitzvah next week, on Kislev 29th.
We’re flying to Israel to celebrate my Bar Mitzvah at the Kotel
(the Western Wall).
Shira: I don’t believe it! I have a Bat Mitzvah next week, on Kislev
29th! We’re flying to Israel to celebrate my Bat Mitzvah in
Jerusalem. Maybe we’ll meet up at the Kotel?
Yair: Ya, we’ll meet up! Good Idea. Say, what do you want to do in
Israel? Are you traveling only to Jerusalem?
Shira: To Jerusalem and to Netanya. We’re traveling to Netanya for a
week, to my grandpa’s and grandma’s house. Afterwards we’re
traveling to Jerusalem for a week, to celebrate my Bat Mitzvah,
and then we’re returning to America.
