The Israeli Mummy
About one hundred years ago, when the mummy arrived in Israel as a
gift to the Jerusalem Patriarch, (they) thought the mummy was of a
young Egyptian clerk. In a special operation (they) took Alex the
mummy out of its coffin and sent it to CT in order to uncover its story.
In CT (they) saw that the mummy, aged twenty four hundred years, has
been preserved in excellent condition, and all of its bones are intact.
Anthropology experts figured out that the young clerk was actually an
important adult, who received a care that only few Egyptians did. The
experts will work for a long time in order to understand Alex’ story
completely, and until then it would be possible to see him at the Israel
Museum, at the “Pharaoh in Canaan, the untold story” exhibit.
