Israeli Bicycle at Rio
Usually we see Israelis at the Olympics in judo or surfing, but this year
we’ll also see Shlomi Hayimi, a professional cyclist, the first Israeli
since nineteen sixty. Shlomi is twenty seven years old, a young man
whose entire life is (about) the bicycle. In order to get into the Olympics
he practiced in the trails and mountains of Europe. Shlomi will make
his dream come true this summer when he competes in Rio. He knows
that his chance of winning a medal isn’t big, but he wants to draw more
youngsters after him, that they’ll see him and want to start riding too.
