                                            The Israeli Vulture

This happy end took place less than a day earlier; an IDF force receives,
somewhere in the Golan Height, an unusual package at one of the passages

with Syria, in it is an injured Israeli vulture. The story begins about four

months ago, when this vulture was released into the wild at the Golan
Height with a GPS transmitter on its back. “About two weeks ago its GPS

transmitter drops off our radar, (it) suddenly stopped working.” (The
person) who discovers at the beginning of the week where the vulture is

being held is Gal Luski, the founder of an NPO that (has been) aiding the

victims of the war in Syria for six years. A Syrian agent contacts her and
tells her – we have an Israeli vulture here. “It was being held by a

commander of a militia in a specific area who loves animals very, very

much, and especially birds of prey.” Only two months ago this vulture’s
brother was killed in Syria, except that maybe gratitude towards Israel, and

compassion, help do the impossible – bring it here, and on the way give a
chance to send a message of peace from the Syrian people.
