Jimmy's Alley
Among the small alleys of the neighborhood is a small and hidden
alley – "Jimmy's Alley". It's hard to see where it leads to because of
the many plants that cover the entrance to it. Usually small alleys that
connect houses don’t get names, but this alley has a sign:
Jimmy's Alley
who wagged his tail,
and wandered at his
pleasure
here
1988–1998
Jimmy, as the senior citizens of the neighborhood remember, was a
small dog who belonged to one of the families who lived on the street.
Jimmy was an especially friendly dog and he used to go in and out of
the coffee shops in the area. He was happily welcomed everywhere
and always responded with joy and love.
All these places miss him until this very day and as a sign of love,
perpetuated his memory in the cute sign.
