The Swiss
The Swiss have a trait the Israelis will never succeed in
understanding: they don’t do anything quickly. The Israelis
mock the Swiss for being compulsively "by the book" –
meaning too punctual and hard working. But behind the
mockery there is also a little jealousy. I think that if an Israeli
will have to work on a big project, he will be happy to do it with
a Swiss, because the Swiss are much more responsible, punctual
and serious in their work than Israelis. There is even a special
expression for the Swiss in Hebrew – "a Swiss watch", which
refers exactly to these traits of the Swiss.
