The Sticker Song
The song Sticker Song is like a capsule of Israeliness. Author David
Grossman writes the song thirteen years ago. He tells that he thinks about
the song a day after Rabin’s murder. In two thousand four he takes all the
(bumper) stickers that he sees and writes a song out of them. The song is
very popular and there’s no one today who doesn’t know it. Many things
change since Grossman writes the song, and there aren’t a lot of stickers
today. Grossman thinks that Israelis today simply don’t care.
