The Best Restaurant in London

A year ago, Oobah Butler decided to hold an experiment. He took the
small shed where he lives on the outskirts of London and turned it into a

gourmet restaurant. Not really, just on the most popular ratings site in the

world – TripAdvisor. The hotel and restaurant rating sites have become a
real bible to world travelers. They trust everything that’s written there with

(their) eyes closed, willing to go to any restaurant that gets a good review.
The VICE reporter decided to put this matter to the test – made up a

restaurant that doesn’t exist, built a website, took pictures and of course,

created an imaginary menu. Not a month went by before the fictitious
restaurant’s phone started ringing. Slowly, and without having served one

dish, the restaurant starts to go up the rating. Seven months after the

experiment began, the restaurant reaches first place out of the eighteen
thousand various restaurants in London. Eventually Butler decides to open

the restaurant, but just for one night. People who have been waiting
months for a table finally get the sought-after call. On menu for the special

night – instant and microwave dinners.
