Rain in Eilat
The first rain of fall two thousand sixteen arrived even at the eternal
sunshine city. Thirty millimeters of rain came down in Eilat in one day,
more than the annual amount in a regular year. In the morning the Eilatians
were still enjoying the unusual weather, but problems began later –
because of the large amount of rain there were floods, roads were closed
and a few places in the city became a big lake. For a few hours there were
no flight over Eilat either. Meanwhile the weather in Eilat got better, but it
will still take a long time until (they) take care of all the problems the rain
caused.
