Travelling with Grandma
They went hiking in Asia over a month ago – twenty six year old Netanel
and seventy four year old Edna. It all started when the grandson, Netanel
who grew up in Sweden, asked his grandma if she wants to come traveling
with him. For him it’s an after-army trip, for her it’s a post-retirement trip.
On a trip like this, what can be harder than the physical challenge is the
challenge of finding the connection between the two generations. With
Edna and Netanel, each helps with something – she with the laundry and
food, he with technology. He films the trip for his blog on Facebook. He
wants to show people that traveling with grandma can be a great idea.
