Polard Comes Out of Prison
On Friday, after thirty years, Jonathan Polard is released from prison. The
people close to Polard are very happy, but don’t talk much because they
don’t want to say something that can hurt him. They want to bring Polard
on (his) first days out of prison to a place where there’s no press or a lot of
people. Two Jewish congressmen ask to allow Polard to immigrate to
Israel if he promises to never return to the United States.
