Khan Theatre
The Khan theatre is located in the building of the Turkish Khan.
Khan in Turkish is a hotel. In the Khan there are usually two floors:
The first floor for horses, donkeys and camels, and the second floor –
a place for guests.
In the Turkish era (the Ottoman rule), Christians who wanted to visit
Bethlehem and Jews who wanted to visit Rachel's Tomb and Hebron –
came to the Jerusalem Khan.
Nowadays there is a theatre in the Khan building. In the theatre there
is a coffee shop and it is pleasant to sit there in the summer.
