Making History
On November twenty ninth seventy years ago, the UN decides to establish
two states in the land of Israel – a Jewish state and an Arab state. In honor
of the seventieth year, the state of Israel celebrates at the UN along with
ambassadors from many countries in the world. Seventy years ago, only
thirty three countries think that a Jewish state should be established, and
today Israel has diplomatic relations with more than a hundred and sixty
countries. On this night (they) dance the Horah as well, to remind
everyone the joy there (is) in the land of Israel and with Jews all over the
world when the state of Israel is established.
