Planning the Escape – Part 1

We need to escape, but how do we escape? A friend of ours from
city hall tells us that the sewage runs here, underneath this room.
But how will we dig? How can we reach the sewage?
In order to dig we need equipment, we need to make noise.
And what do we do with all the soil?
My friend had an idea, he spoke with the British and told them,
"This room is big. There are a lot of people here. And if we want
to clean the room, we need a lot of water and you can’t pour a lot
of water here."

The British asked, "Why not?"

So my friend said, "Look, there's a step here, it is impossible to
rake the water out when there’s a step".

So the British said, “Okay, you’re right, what can we do?”

So my friend said, “We can dig a small bathtub, and then we can
rake the water in here and take it out in a bucket.”

The British answered, "fine".

So the British give us the equipment, the British know that we’re
making noise, and the British know why we’re taking out soil ...
smart, no?
