Unique Hebrew Preposition - ֶאת
The preposition ֶאתdoes not have an equivalent in English and it
already appears twice in the first verse of the Bible.
ו ֵאת הא ֶרץ, ֵאת ַהש ַמים, ברא ֱאֹלהים,ב ֵראׁשית
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth
ֶאתis used in Hebrew for specific objects (with definite article) /
nouns or people (names).
