Wikipedia Israel

You’ve probably never heard of these people, but you read what they write
almost every day. Wikipedia has come a (long) way since it started
operating in Israel over a decade ago, today it already has about two
hundred thousand entries in Hebrew, for which about two hundred
different writers are responsible, who do it completely voluntarily. Aside
from being thirsty for knowledge and transferring it to others as well, don’t
be confused, these editors have a lot of power. That’s the way it is when
every day hundreds of thousands of people are exposed to the texts you
write. And really, (you) can see a real change in using Wikipedia. If in the
past educational institutions would worn students not to rely on (this)
website, today there is actual cooperation between the Ministry of
Education and Wikipedia Israel. It turns out that one of the greatest
challenges they face is actually the amount of writers, or more precisely
female writers. At the moment over seventy percent of writers are men.
These editors are so devoted to their work; one might say even married to
it. No wonder that they found love through the online encyclopedia.
