Moving from Infinitive Form to Future Tense

In this group we omit the infinitive form prefix ל, and the sound
pattern changes from E…O… to:

...O...A...

Instead of the ל we use prefixes corresponding to the pronouns.

As an example let’s use the verb to eat - לֹכֱא ל. Follow the arrows to
find the prefixes used for each pronoun.

to eat - לֹכֱא ל

לַכֹא ← לֹכא ל ֱ

Pronoun 
Prefix ֹנ ← וּנח א ַנ ְ ֹי ← א ה וּ ← איה/ ה ִ ת א )ֹא( ← יִנ א*
ֹת

ל כא + ֹנ ל כא + ֹי ל כא + ֹת ל כֹא
Prefix  ל כֹא

ל כא ֹנ ל כא ֹי ל כא ֹת

As we add the corresponding suffixes, the ‘A’ sound disappears:

Pronoun  וּ+ֹי ← ם ֵה וּ +ֹת ← ם ת א י+ֹת ← ְ ת א
Prefix & Suffix

+ וּ ל ְכא + ֹי + וּ ל ְכא + ֹת + י ִל ְכא + ֹת
Prefix & Suffix 

וּ ל ְכא ֹי וּ ל ְכא ֹת י ִל ְכא ֹת
* Pay attention: For the first person the prefix א and the first root letter א
just coincide.
