Money for Every Child
At the Knesset (they) approved a new program today, “Savings Account
for Every Child”. According to this program, the state will deposit fifty
NIS a month for every boy and girl up to the age of eighteen. If the parents
want they can add another fifty NIS a month and make the savings bigger,
from fifteen thousand NIS at the age of eighteen to about twenty nine
thousand NIS. These days the Social Security Agency is sending letters to
parents to decide where to put the savings account. They’ll only see the
results of this decision in years.
