Authority. Mahdi Abu-Razala, one of the escapees, noted that the prison's
management did not live up to the arrangement with the wanted (men),
and so they left.
In the Palestinian Authority they were quick to placate and claimed that
the wanted (men) do not intent to perform terror attacks. "This escape has
no influence on the security of Israel", said Akram Rajoub, Commander
of the Preventive Security in Nablus. "These people are still committed to
the agreement. They escaped from [the] prison because of internal
reasons. I hope they will return to prison even today, God willing."
