                     Shopping Like in Israel

After Bnei Brak, Petah Tikvah, Be'er Sheva and Jerusalem, Brooklyn is
also on the branch list for the ultra-orthodox discount chain ‘Osher Ad’,
responsible for the sector’s consumption habits revolution. In a few
months, a first branch of the chain in the United States will be opened
here, in (this) abandoned building that used to be a supermarket, with an
investment of about nine million dollars. The potential clientele is about
sixty thousand homes, and the expected income revenue is about a hundred
million dollars a year. The concept of big packages for low prices isn’t
actually new for Americans, what’s new this time is that everything is
Kosher and most of the merchandise is imported from Israel. And while
the chain debates over preserving the name, one of Israel’s leading food
chains, Ramy Levi Shivuk Hashikma is also planning to expand outside of
Israel’s borders. Ramy Levi purchased two potential grounds - one in
Philadelphia and another at the Hollywood neighborhood in Miami. It’s
interesting (to know) where we’ll eventually find the cheapest Milky.
