Getting Ready for the Holidays

New Year’s Eve following the weekend, and the High Holidays coming up
only mean one thing: only hours left for shopping. “This is leftover
shopping” “The shopping doesn’t end.” “Are you hosting a lot of people
over?” - “No, we’re the guests.” But everything is not last minute for
everyone. “How long have you been shopping for?” “A week and a half,
two weeks.” “Hard work.” “But you do it with all your heart.” The
shopping headache doesn’t skip the guests either. “What do you like
here?” “I have no idea.” “I’m thinking a bottle of wine". "A bottle of wine
is cliché. What are we, clichés?” “What are you looking for?” “An idea.”
There are those who preferred the scents, flavors as well as the prices of
the marketplace. “It’s a holiday in which you constantly eat, so I try with
the vegetables, fruits for the kids, and that’s it, it’s all fun, this being.” And
while the cashboxes are working in the city center, a few hundred meters
away there are those for whom it’s already a holiday. “We postponed
everything to the last minute because the kids wanted to play at the beach,
so that’s what they’re doing. Anything for the kids.” “Usually during the
holidays we’re in Eilat.” “Cooking?” “No way! Can I cook? I come to
eat.”
