The Polish Bill
At the Polish Parliament (they) decided that from now on it’s forbidden to
talk about the polish as if they had an active part in the Holocaust, and it’s
forbidden to say ‘Polish death camps’. Israel, which is very angry with the
Polish, told the Polish Deputy-Ambassador in Israel that it doesn’t agree to
the bill, and it also thinks that voting on this bill on the eve of the
International Holocaust Remembrance Day is ironic. Now the relationship
between Israel and Warsaw is in crisis. On the one hand, everything that
has to do with the Holocaust is an important part of the Israeli collective,
and on the other hand, Poland helps Israel in international forums.
