The Artists of Nachalat Binyamin
On Nachalat Binyamin Street there is twice a week, on Tuesday's and
Friday's, an artist's fair in which there are about 250 artists.
In a world of globalization and ratings, Nachalat Binyamin is a special
place in which it’s possible to find "Blue-and-White" handicrafts and
talk with the artist and creator. The event helps to keep the special
character of the street, and gives a place for young artists who are only
beginning their career.
So how can you sell works in Nachalat Binyamin? - The Municipality
of Tel Aviv decides by certain criteria about every artist who wants to
take part in the fair. The most important criterion is that the work needs
to be special and the one who makes it needs to be the artist himself.
The event has space also for social organizations who sell works of
members of the organizations and explain about the organizations.
