A Happy-Sad Story
Kati’s parents live in China. There, twenty years ago, (you) can’t have
more than one child in a family, so people from America adopt Kati. When
Kati’s biological parents leave her, they write to the adoptive parents if
they can bring Kati in ten or twenty years to China in order to meet them.
Kati’s biological father waits for her every year on her birthday at the
same place, but she doesn’t come. Only when she’s twenty two, Kati goes
to China and meets her biological parents.
