                                             Israeli Animation
The Israeli animator Hanan Kaminski has already directed several
animation movies and shows around the world, but only now he’s involved
with an Israeli animated film for children. “How much does it cost to make
an animated children’s film for children in Israel?” “This movie costs
fourteen million NIS, which sounds like a lot, (but) in American films it
ranges between fifty to a hundred, and even more, million dollars. Very far
from what we’re doing.” The production is a cooperation between Israel
and Hungary. The Israeli director didn’t cut any slack for the young Israeli
animators and made sure that half the film, forty one minutes exactly, will
be made in Israel, not a minute less. The movie “The Legend of King
Solomon” was recorded in other languages as well, but the most natural
connection is obviously to Israelis. The plot tells of the Biblical character
and is based on the children’s tales by Hayim Nahman Bialik.
